Two figurines walked onwards through the bushes and grass. One of a dappled hue and another who was a flame'kissed filly. Breseis and Lost Dreams, the newest members of Black Rose Glade. Lost Dreams had one destination in her mind, to find Venus. She hadn't yet seen another filly, and well, there is only so much fun you can have on your own. She kept running ahead of Breseis and being called back by her dam. She wanted to go and find her. Lost quickly moved into a trot, while Breseis just couldn't resist trotting aswell. They made quick time, moving quickly through the bushes. Stopping, Breseis told Lost to stop aswell. She thought that they were in the middle of the land now. It was open and you could see roses here and there. Lost Dreams emitted a whinny of pleasure as she began to run into the open, giving a playful buck and a few happy little snorts.
Breseis smiled as she watched her daughter, and began to think about Earthquake. He had left a few days before her birth, and Breseis never told her daughter who her father was. She was still mad at that stallion, and she didn't know why he hadn't come. First resigning, and then that. But Breseis rarely ever thought of Earthquake now, she actually didn't even know him that well. Breseis was now had hope that she would see Oni as a father. She liked how Oni was, and trusted him now.
Thoughts seemed to wander off easily with Breseis, they still hadn't seen any other mares here. Looking around, she looked up into the blue hued sky, and emitted a whinny into the land. Calling all of the ladies of Black Rose Glade. Would they come? who knew. Breseis was just new here, but she wished to meet some others, as did her daughter. So, they waited upon the arrival of all who tread upon this turf.

Ayr had just entered the lands not so long ago, and the realization hit her that she belonged somewhere now. She grinned happily as she trudged through the ergot deep snow, whipcord held high like a flag and snapping behind her. Slender boa was arched delicately as she raised her legs in a high step, this throwing snow around her, as if she were dancing and celebrating life. She stopped short, breath mixing into the crisp air making white substance leak about her petite mug. The valkyrie perked her slender audios as a voice broadcasted itself over the nearby area, it was a calling to no one in particular and yet everyone. Curiosity peaking at the small mare, she darted forward under a foiledge of rose bushes, leaving tiny little scratches against her withers that were barely noticeable in her flea bitten jacket.
Ayr gazed about in search with her hazel optics, the green flecks accented by the white shroud falling along the landscape around her. She snorted softly, still not seeing the equine that had made the noise, and shook her elegant tiara rather roughly. Forelock tumbled around her wide forehead before settling to one side or the other but not directly in her gaze. While mane lay limp and half frozed against her nape. She was sure, sure that that she had heard that call, and of a presence nearby. Hind hoof was brought up and stomped abruptly and sharply back to ground in frustration with her own senses. Finally she moved forward in the general direction she had heard it, all the while her muscles tensed as she listened intently and focused all her senses. Then, she saw them, the pretty dapple and her chesnut babe. Ayr watched them for a moment, caught in the beautiful sight, before lowering her facade slightly to a non-threatening level for a single moment. First off, mothers were moody and protective, NEVER piss one off or give reason for them to kick your butt from one end of the terrain to the next, because they would.
Then pride got the best of her, and her dial went back up to its lofty position as if on a hinge at the crook of her neck. She let a friendly nicker escape her vocals and float through the air, and as she drew slowly closer her soft smile widened into one of complete good nature and humour. "Salutations, Oni told me to get to know other mares in the herd and I am presuming you are either Breseis or Falling Sky?" Ayr let a giggle surface, then let her lips part again to tell the mare what her own name was. "In any case, I am Ayr Tyme but you can call me Ayr. What is the little lady's name?" She asked lowering her dial to the foals level, and giving her a bright and sincere smile. Around foals, Ayr found herself totally amazed. The fact that they were brought into a world of so many dangers, and were alive were surely a miracle. Living past the first few hours of life, then to grow larger and grow in intelligence also. Any mother got Ayr's respect, for carrying something into the world and raising it, obviously had their hands full constantly.

Flea-bitten maiden stood in the snow, letting it fall against her hide as she watched her awe-strucked young one. A smile fel upon her kissers as she watched Lost Dreams. Her gorgeous little babe was curious, yet afraid of this new substance. As the red flicka hid behind her mother, Breseis gave her a swipe with her tail, giggling as she spoke, "It won't hurt you my love," She said pushing her own maw into the snow and flicking it upwards so it showered them both.
Lost Dreams looked towards her mother, eyes wide in amazement. Lowering her crania, she licked the snow and squeeled as she backed up, falling over. Getting up right away, Lost didn't want anyone to see her fall. "Its sooo weird," She spoke again, investigating this new white fluffy substance beside her mother.
Breseis watched her, and was alarmed when she fell, but settled down, knowing her daughter was a little older than before. Watching her daughter, the mare heard a sound in the distance. Harks flickered in that direction, trying to pinpoint the spot. Perhaps she had been wrong, so she let that idea slip to the back of her mind for the time being.
As moments passed by, Breseis turned to see another duchess walking out towards her. As the opposing mare lowered her dial, Breseis gave a gentle nod, then brought her dished visage back to normal height. Listening to this lady's words, she was glad to have known that another mare actually had listened to her call. The first mare Breseis had met here.
After hearing Ayr Tyme's words, Breseis let her voice speak out,
"I would be Breseis," She said kindly, "It is a pleasure to meet you Ayr, and also nice to see another dove upon this land." Looking down to Lost Dreams, the filly had seemed to have subsided on the thought of snow, and was now looking at Ayr Tyme. "I'm Lost Dreams," She spoke, looking the mare over, slightly disappointed that she hadn't yet seen any other foals around. Speaking again, she said, "Have you seen a foal anywhere?" She asked her, not knowing where Venus was.
Breseis looked down to Lost Dreams, giving her a gently flick with her banner, reminding the young flicka of her manners.

Glad to be away. Safe. Secure. For the time being. At least. Pulling light-colored stones trudging through the thick substance that blanketed the floor, chestnut flicka wandered silently through her now home. Scents were hanging limply from invisible strings, dangling in front of orbs that seemed to look right through them. Indeed, the damsel was not paying much attention to her surroundings at the moment, a could-be fatal mistake. Yet no haunting smells or sounds lurked anywhere near by, and the cocoa-hued fatale was wrapped tightly in a blanket of wool; safe. Heavily-lashed spheres blinked, a cloud of exhaled carbon dioxide floating dreamily out into the frigid winter air. This creature, Gospel, was on her way to a meeting. At this meeting she would be forced to go and try to make friends with all of the other possessions of Lord Oni. Gospel, being her moody and extroverted self, had been completely dreading this gathering of doves and was quite sure she was going to make a complete fool of herself. Shrugging, in an equine way, the cocoa fleeced angel walked onward, gaze on the ground, every now and then flitting up to watch the vapor smoke out of her rose hued nares. She didn't want to meet the prudes and their little brats who lived here. In fact, Gospel was quite content on her own, pleased to dream she could be the only one living in this strongly fragranced land. For nearly an entire moon she had wandered alone, seeing the other vixen in the distance but never bothering to approach them. Instead, Gospel grazed on the outskirts of the rest of the herd, leaving for some reason or another when anyone tried to approach her. She simply wanted to be left alone. And now, she had been commanded to attend this stupid damned meeting!
Releasing a sort of growl-like sound, Gospel allowed her thoughts to stray to other matters. Deuteronomy, the stallion whom she had met just after joining this land. The pinto colt around her age...the only one she truly felt joyful around. Of course, Oni didn't know about Gospel meeting with this other male...he presumed she was being the perfect little angel her mother wanted her to be. That wasn't the reality, of course, as it never is with teenagers. Except Oni of course. "He feels like he needs to be all mature because of his duties. My impression of him at first was much better. Now he's just like any other stallion. Duties, duties, duties." Thoughts danced through Gospel's mind, causing the female to shale her head and sigh. Bits of flame danced around an arched serpentine as she did so, striking her fuzzy winter coat with their best attempt at violence.
Lithe figurine wound through the leafless trees as the daughter of Crimson Conflict and Wandering Spirit made her way to meet her fellows. A deep rut was carved into the snow, the cold material making columns feel a bit weak and numb. This was ignored, however, and Gospel continued her bored walking pace until the rest of the equines came into view. A small foal bounced around a lady's heels, who seemed to be in deep conversation with another damsel. Both angels were a gray stain, though the apparent mother of the filly was dappled with flecks of gray, a coat of a lighter hue sitting beneath the dots. Sighing, the brown creature made her way over to the two, stopping fairly close to their little bundle. Staring blankly in their direction for a few seconds, the mistress finally decided she would say something. Parting her fangs, rude and liquor-coated tunes spilled from her teacup.
"Hazaa, I finally get to meet the valuable items our Lord has collected over time. Aren't I just lucky? Look -- even his beloved little creation has decided to join the party. The one he warned me not to play rough with." Sarcasm filled each syllable, ending with a gorgeous little rebellious smile.

Breseis turned her dial to see another mare coming near. Auds flicked up, watching the mare. Oni's herd was definitely growing. Flicking her tassels, Breseis's optics looked over to Ayr Tyme for a moment, wondering if she was going to reply just then. Watching both of the femora's Breseis waited for one of them to speak.
As a few moments passed, Breseis heard the voice of the new equine. Listening to her words, Breseis could tell that this fae was young and rebelious. As Breseis watchws her for a moment, Lost Dreams was the first to speak, wide oracles watching Gospel.
"Well excuse me miss, but I would not be Oni's little creation, as you put it that way, he is not my sire. And if he was, then you would have to be even more polite to me than you are being. Anyways, who do you think you are?"
Lost Dreams watched Gospel, her true emotions showing through. She had always had a flighty personality, but it showed through this time.
Breseis looked towards Lost Dreams, mouth open. "Lost," She scolded her daugter, "Be nice," She said. Flea-bitten duchess then looked up to Gospel, "We are the 'items' our lord has collected as you wish to call it. But I prefer more of a nicer manner. Anyways, I am Breseis, and this," She nosed her daughter, "Is Lost Dreams,"

Exhaustion. It beat and tore the body of the young lead as he forced his way through the brittle bushes and hanging branches from the trees. He didn't notice the wide-eyes doe and her fawn that he passed, both watching him cautiously but knowing he was no harm. The poor lad,he had patrolled his lands for the billionth time, and just returned from Farlow Fields on a scouting trip for more members. Once a lively and energetic commander, now he was barely making his way to a small glade he knew of to rest. The thought of sleep made him pick up his pace just slightly, ready to fall into the darkness happily. Yet,just as his ebon talons touched the edge of the glade that he had meant to relax within, voices reached his limp auds and made them rise. It was the lyrics of his faithful maidens, and by the sound of it the majority were conversing with eachother. Smiling at the thought of his harem together in a group and chatting made his spirits brigthen. Sighing softly,he decided to join them. So,walking toward his precious gems, the lead had no idea what he was diving into.
Oni arrived just after Gospel, and stood within the shadows at her back as the young follower oozed words of disrespect toward Breseis,Ayr Tyme, and Lost Dreams. Snorting roughly,deer-ckin steed leaped into the view of the qudaron and faced the flamelick'd damsel with blazing orbs. He had his forehead pressing against hers, their eyes so close his vision of her was just a big fuzz of ruby and timber. The breath that came so rapidly from his nares fogged, and floated about the two as the czar let a snarl rip forth from his clenched jowls. He let the intensity of the moment build, and finally pulled away from Gospel with a blood-chilling snarl. His crania came up and back, chin pressing against his throat as he stared down upon her. Then, wordss were set free from the enraged lord's pipes.
"I come to greet my dear maidens, and find you spitting at them your petty anger. In my harem, child,we respect those higher or equal in rank to ourselves. Breseis and Ayr Tyme have done NOTHING to you. I welcomed you into my kingdom and family because I thought you were be a good friend to myself and this ladies. Now I may be occupied lately, and not spend time with you much, but I am a lead and have other obligations to fulfill. Now,apologize to these ladies, and then stay silenced. Your rebellious actions are uneeded and unwanted. If you expect to ever find a descent relationship with someone or others, then you will drop the stupid little prissiness."
Where had this sudden anger and firm leadership come from? Oni was shocked and pleased with himself that somewhere inside,a new being stepped forth to take command. Though he had been tired just moments before,he felt refreshed and ready to run a million miles. He felt older and wiser, able to keep a harem running efficently and still show each of his members that they were everything to him. Gospel would surely be angry at him,and probably shoot some come back then leave. He wouldn't care though, that would just show how much of a babe she truely was. If she could not take commands, then she was not welcomed here anymore. Though the topaz cloaked knight enjoyed the young dove's company, she seemed a bit self-centered and wanted to much attention. He could not have that amoung his harem,it would cause to much trouble.
Emeral gaze turned upon Breseis,Lost Dreams, and Ayr Tyme, softening at the sight of each. They had been kind and generous to eachother, chatting nicely and not causing racket. Stepping toward the speckled dam first,he nuzzled her nape with friendly affection and then looked down to her crimson daughter. Grinning at the filly,he nudged her shoulder and playfully nipped her short locks. Finally,he stepped before the lovely ashen princess, and caressed her cheek before pressing his mug into the thick hide of her shoulder. Soaking in her wonderful feminine aroma,he pulled away and turned to face Gospel,in which was standing a few feet away and singled out. His safe gaze looked upon her, still tender and caring. He was giving her a choice, and she would have to choose what to do all by herself.

(The much awaited post! It's stinky, but eh, haven't roleplayed in a while. Now perhaps I can roleplay with everyone and not just Oni, even though, Katie, leave their thread open a little while longer, because I have something that I want to roleplay between the two of them, alright?)
Her time in the lands of Black Rose Glade were lengthening. Certainly, she knew her way around by now, right? Wrong. Having spent so much time in the thicket with Oni, she had neglected to request his time for the grand tour. Assuming that she would be able to stumble upon the others she had heard so much about, the speckled lady picked up her heavy and nearly useless limbs in hopes to rid some of winter's stiffness from her bones. It had been a chilly winter, not in the least bit enjoyable. The cold held a certain whimsical and calming nature to it, but this season, something had shifted. Something wasn't exactly the same as it had always been. Luci remembered her winters as a child. They were filled with laughter and merriment, a feeling she missed with this passing year. She longed for the months when having specks of powdered snow caught in her follicles made her feel a bit romantic. But with such a heavy presence hovering overhead on the Island, such silly thoughts would never be permitted.
Not realizing that the trail of her thoughts had brought her into another realm of the lands she resided upon, she was pleasently surprised to see her beloved leader in the distance. And not only him, but the other damsels he had tenderly alotted to in their time together. The filly bouncing about flooded her heart with joy as she imagined a child similar to the one before her would be hers someday. Soon the seasons would be changing, and with that, she would hope to be asked to carry a child. But with tension within their world, it could quite possibly be the farthest thing from Oni's mind. Besides, it seemed as though others were ready and able to produce heirs, perhaps they would be chosen primarily due to their acceptance to the land. Whirling within all of these thoughts, a nagging feeling of pain tugged at the base of her heart. For reasons unknown to her, the thought of bearing a child in this world brought uneasiness within her delicate frame. Perhaps at a later time she would attempt to ascertain why, but for now, formalities called her name.
Approaching the small band of ladies and a gentleman, the tones escaping their lips weren't as welcoming as she had previously anticipated. Backwash, filled with bitterness flew from the mouth of a young crimson vixen. Unsure what had set her mouth flying, she was equally set off balance by Oni's harsh response to her. Knowing that it wasn't her place in the least to pretend to be peacemaker, she remained in the background of the little dispute. Partly due to ignorance, and more largely attributed to the fact that she didn't much care to be scolded as well, she invited silence to become her best friend. Meeting the eyes of a few of the ladies, the corners of her lips upturned in acknowledgement of their presence, but that was all she would muster in such a clenched moment. Perhaps the group collectively ticked Oni off, how was she to know? All she knew was respect now, friends later. Quiet still, she would remain that way until addressed by the proper party.

A soft sigh came from the wind, russeling the thick leaves of the many trees. Branches stirred as creatures scurried about atop them, and the cry of an unknown bird would echo through the shadows. It was spring, finally, and life had returned to Naikou Island once more. All of the animals had risen from their dormant states ro replenish the strength and energy lost during the winter. The gathering of food, and the mating of couples added to the energy of the isle. So much had not happened over the frosted season, and hopefully more action would as the rebirth of the northern hempisphere took place. It was a fantastic and wonderful time, and celebration should be happening in every realm. Yet unforunately, one neutral kingdom was bound by ropes of tension and anger. Hopefully, the equines could push past the bad blood and make the herd larger.
It throbbed of his being. In waves, the authority and power pumped off of the buckskin beast. He was older, only a year but had learned so much in those twelve months. The cross breed stallion was finely getting into the easy groove of herd life, but was facing a rare challenge. A stuborn or jealous maiden. Oni had softened in those last few moments, turning about to look upon each of his ladies and then turning back to the liver chestnut 'ess that was giving him trouble. She had replied to him yet,and he wondered faintly if his lyrics had been a bit over the top. Though that was gone and done, and he had no intention of undermining his control by taking any of those sharp words back. Gospel could take it,she could if she wanted to stay within Black Rose Glade. If she couldn't...then she would leave.
A soft hoof fall, almost unaudible sounded off to the side of the group. Turning to look, the bronze clad commander watched as a multi-hued bodice slipped forth from the shadows. She was tall and lean, with a healthy gleam to her pinto coat and an elegant air about her. She was Luci,a dear friend to Oni and a mare he most respected.
The paint doe haulted, and watched her fellow maidens for a time. The lord finally nodded her way,and smiled as he slowly walked about Breseis and Ayr Tyme to get to his other dove. She would not be left out of the fun,and certainly needed to be known to those before her. So,once reaching her side, the golden hessian reached out his ebonite labios and touched them to Luci's own in the formal greeting of exchanging breaths. Once done,he brushed his lips against her neck breifly then turned to his harem. Parting jowls,Oni adressed all assembled before him.
"Dear Misses, you have another amoung your ranks. She is my Deltess, and most respected. Her name is for her to tell you,but ask all that you respect her the way you would any above or below you in postion."
Simple and asking words, and the guardian of Black Rose Glade may have been some what more firm. Yet he stood beside Luci and smiled to his other lasses, hoping they would welcome her as they had eachother. Well, atleast how most of them had accepted one another.
