Mortified Gorge King's land. Although the Mortified Gorge isn't ACTUALLY dead, it still seems to be...nobody can argue with that. Most of the trees are healthy, long branches and full of leaves, but they are so closely packed together that very little sunlight ever enters most of this land. Vines hang from the massive branches, vines which can entangle you and leave you there, screaming until death comes and takes you. It's fairly swampy in the Mortified Gorge, but plently of grass grows, though the taste can't be gauranteed. Owls fly day long, and the trees seem to moan in pain. In the sunny areas of this place, the grass is dead and the parched ground is covered with rocks and stones. Still, it is a suitable land for the Dark King. Eerie Ridge Eerie Ridge has been named to a "T". This land is very much on the creepy side as an awkward silence consumes most of the daylight hours. Even with the inhabitants that rest permantly within the rotting foilage, they all seem to realize that silence is golden, and have little qualms with a few sacrifices to keep it that way. A bit on the smaller size, this piece of turf isn't anything to complain about. Tall evergreens lace the borders, engulfing its dwellers in a natural fortress, similar to Mortified Gorge. The vegetation on the ground is sparce during the summer months and zilch in the winter due to the inhibition of sunlight to penetrate the canopy hanging overhead. The only place to find a morsel to eat is in the clearing resting smack-dab in the middle of the land. But getting there is only half the battle. Sadistic Canyon The howls of the predators as they devour their prey echo along the canyon walls. Some-what connected to Mortified Gorge,this land stinks of death and decay. The shadows that are produced from the towering rock block out all sunlight if you reach the lowest floor. Very little,to no vegetation grows amoung the darkness,and so the creatures that live here are often very lean herbavious,or plump carnaviours considering there is a fair ammount of other beasts roaming about. It's dog eat dog in this realm,you kill or be killed. It quite obvious how the land got it's name,considering the only equines that live here are malicious and sadistic. Dark Soils

Resting just off center of Naikou Island,lay ill realms. A deep gorge cuts through the very land,and death lies within it. This would be Mortified Gorge,home to the Dark King and Queen. Surprisingly,the next evil province does not stand beside the gorge,but is over by the neutral terras. A ridge pokes out toward the sea,a small domain but fit for the creepy darks that reside within in. This wold be Eerie Ridge,home to the only Lord and Lady of darks. These soils are cursed and graveyards for lights and neutrals. So,if I were you,I wouldn't venture near these or you might be the resident's next meal!
